0 Menambahkan Menu Move To pada Context Menu

Menambahkan Menu Move To pada Context Menu : Fungsi Menu Move To ini hampir sama dengan menu “cut” yang sudah ada pada menu default Context Menu dalam Windows Explorer, yaitu memindahkan file atau folder dari suatu drive atau folder yang satu ke drive atau folder yang lain. Sebenarnya menu Move To ini sudah ada pada menu bar yaitu Edit >> Move To Folder namun karena alasan kepraktisan mungkin kita perlu menambahkan menu Move To ini pada context menu yang dirasa lebih praktis dan cepat. Dengan menu Move To tersebut, kita dapat memindahkan file/folder dengan lebih praktis setidaknya jika dibandingkan dengan menggunakan menu “cut”, salah satu menu default pada context menu. Untuk menambahkan menu Move To ini kita dapat menggunakan fasilitas regedit Windows dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut.

Pertama, jalankan regedit dengan cara seperti biasanya, yaitu Start >> Run >> ketikkan “regedit” (tanpa tanda petik) kemudian tekan OK atau ENTER

Kedua, klik H_KEY_CLASSES_ROOT >> AllFilesystemObjects >> shellex >> ContextMenuHandlers >>

Ketiga, pada folder ContextMenuHandlers klik kanan >> New >> Key dan namai dengan Move To

Kelima, klik pada folder Move To kemudian berpindah ke panel sebelah kanan, kemudian klik double pada string “default” sehingga akan muncul jendela edit string seperti di bawah ini.

Keenam, copy kode berikut ini dan pastekan pada baris “value data”, seperti di atas.

Kedelapan, tutup jendela regedit

Kesembilan, selesai

HASILNYA

Untuk melihat hasilnya, silakan buka Windows Explorer kemudian klik kanan pada salah satu file atau folder dan pastikan menu Move To sudah “nangkring” di sana, seperti di bawah ini.

Untuk memindahkan file atau folder tersebut klik menu “Move To Folder” hingga kita akan mendapati jendela yang berisi pilihan drive yang ada di computer kita, seperti di bawah ini.

Kemudian tentukan / cari drive atau folder target dan klik “move” maka file atau folder tersebut telah “pindah tempat” sesuai keinginan kita.

0 Menyalin File atau Folder Dengan Menu Copy To

Menambahkan Menu Copy To Pada Context Menu : Seperti kita ketahui bahwa banyak cara yang dapat kita gunakan untuk meng-copy suatu file atau folder dari suatu folder atau drive yang satu ke folder atau drive yang lain. Di antara sekian banyak cara tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan menu copy dari context menu yang tampil ketika kita melakukan klik kanan pada file/folder di maksud. Setelah itu kita menuju ke folder/drive tujuan dan melakukan paste di sana. Maka file/folder dimaksud sudah tercopy dengan "baik".

Selain “ritual” yang telah disebutkan di atas, kita dapat menggunakan “ritual” yang lain yang sedikit berbeda. Pada cara yang ini, ketika kita mengklik menu copy maka kita akan langsung diarahkan kepada jendela baru dengan pilihan drive yang ada pada computer kita. Dengan demikian kita mendapatkan folder/drive tujuan lebih cepat dan praktis. Hal ini berbeda dengan ritual yang biasanya di mana kadang-kadang kita harus mengklak-klik untuk mencari folder/drive tujuan terlebih dahulu.

Karena ritual yang ini menggunakan menu yang belum “tercover” pada context menu yang ada maka kita harus membuatnya terlebih dahulu dengan mengotak-atik regedit, sebagai berikut.

Setelah kita klik menu “Copy To Folder” maka kita akan mendapati jendela baru dengan pilihan drive yang ada computer kita, seperti di bawah ini.

Kemudian kita cari/tentukan folder/drive tujuan dan klik copy maka proses peng-copy-an segera berlangsung.
